The Hawks swept Montgomery College yesterday afternoon, 10-3 and 19-0, in a doubleheader played in Rockville, MD.
Makayla Ambrose led the Hawks offense in the first game, going 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Madison Heuer and Madison Bailey each had 2 hits with with Bailey earning an RBI. Adrianna Beeler faced 29 batters, striking out 3 to earn the win on the mound.
In the second game, Adrianna Beeler was 4-4 with 4 RBIs, leading the Hawks, with Sydra Royer 3 for 4 and 2 RBIs, and Madison Bailey and Morgan Kolich each 2 for 3, with 2 RBIs. Jordyn Brown pitched a complete five inning game giving up 3 hits and striking out 8.
Hagerstown hosts CCBC Catonsville at home on Tuesday, April 5th, in a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m.
