MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Hagerstown Community College went 2-1 at the Fastpitch Dreams event Tuesday, sweeping Penn State Fayette in a doubleheader before falling to Danville Community College.
In the opener against PSU Fayette, Madison Clark had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs, Elizabeth Churchman had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs, Bridgette Ritchey had two hits, including a triple, Kaitlin Wolfe had two hits and an RBI and Cierra Beaver and Emily Talbert combined on a two-hitter.
In the second game, Talbert pitched seven innings with six strikeouts and had three hits and an RBI.
Tiffany Stull had three hits, including a double, and an RBI, Madi Renn had two hits and an RBI and Maddie Baker added RBI an for HCC, which had 11 hits.
Against Danville, Beaver had two hits and an RBI, Stull had two hits and Renn had an RBI for the Hawks (3-4).
