Hagerstown CC men's soccer team faced off against #4, nationally ranked, Harcum College on Tuesday afternoon. After a strong first half against the NJCAA Division I final four opponent, the Hawks only trailed 2-0 at halftime. A few second half mental errors caused Hagerstown to concede a few more goals to the Bears, with the final score ending up 8-0.
"This match was a learning experience," commented head coach, CJ Trammell. "It showed us what it takes to compete in the NJCAA tournament. We will use this experience as the bar moving forward, and it will help us compete with the top teams in the conference."
Hagerstown travels to Frederick Community College tomorrow for a 4:30 p.m. match. The Hawks are 2-2 overall, and 2-1 in the conference.
