HCC Hawks Baseball hosted the CCBC Dundalk Lions in a doubleheader yesterday, April 14th, making a clean sweep, winning both games 5-1 and 6-0.
Andrew Kerns (3-1) pitched a complete game one, allowing 5 hits. Offensively for the Hawks, Quinn Illig had 2 hits, and Nizeah Mummert, Nick Miller and Chase Cassera each had an RBI.
Devin Reid (5-1) pitched a complete game shutout in the second game, allowing 3 hits. Chase Cassera had 2 hits, Bryan Benedict (aka Tank) had 3 RBIs and Quill Illig had 2 RBIs for the Hawks.
Hagerstown, now 27-9 overall, travels to Penn State Mont Alto today for a doubleheader starting at 2:00 p.m.
