When asked about the team's overall performance, Head Coach Mike Spinnler commented, "This outing was a nice positive step in our team progression for the men. Our one-five order remained the same, and our time gaps closed significantly. Winning the team championship over NCAA-DI schools was a nice bonus. Three weeks out from the conference and region championships, I feel we are going in the right direction, but still have work to do. Our sixth, seventh and eighth men are improving steadily, weekly, and adding much needed depth to the team." Coach Spinnler seemed very positive when asked about the freshmen women, "Morgan is establishing herself as a legitimate Region 20 podium contender. Her top five finish today definitely demonstrates that she has the ability to be in the hunt for all-region honors on October 28th, in Youngwood, PA. Clare and Maggie are adjusting nicely to collegiate level competition as well."
Hagerstown races next, competing in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on October 14th.
