Hagerstown Men win Hood College Open

Hagerstown CC Men's Cross Country won the 8K Hood College Open on Saturday, in an average time of 26:42, against a field of 18 participating 4 year schools and teams from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and Maryland. Finishing in an average time of 27:09 and taking second place was the University of Mary Washington, and Franklin and Marshall placed third with an average time of 28.35.
Leading the way for the Hawks, David Butts (26:12.6) won the race followed by Trent Overcash (26:15.4) placing second. Henry Schmidt (26:39.0) came in 6th, Gabe Conder (27:02.4) 9th, Zane Chalker (27:23.6) 14th, Ryan Rasco (30:19.4) 27th, and Jaron Pearson (36:23.8) 84th out of the 159 member field.
