Hawks volleyball continued on the winning path this week, posting two conference wins against Anne Arundel and Frederick community colleges.
Wednesday, September 8th, Hagerstown hosted the Riverhawks in their home opener at the ARCC. Madison Baker (7) set up the offense posting 35 assists on the match. Katie Morgan (13) lead with 18 kills and 5 aces, Macie Chrisman (18) added 7 kills and 5 blocks, and Jenna Shank (10) had 10 digs. The Hawks swept Anne Arundel 3 sets to zero, (25-9, 25-20, 25-22).
Yesterday, the Hawks traveled to Frederick Community College defeating the Cougars in four sets, 3-1 (29-27, 24-26, 25-14, 25-21). Macie Chrisman (18) lead Hagerstown with 14 kills, with Anniya Grantham (16) posting 7 kills and 5 blocks, Katie Morgan (13) killing 8 and digging 15, and Madison Baker (7) setting up 42 assists. Jenna Shank (10) held the defense with 20 digs.
The Hawks host the College of Southern Maryland on Wednesday, September 15th, match time 6:00 p.m. at the ARCC.
