The Hawks traveled to Prince George's Community College on Wednesday, February 9th to fall to the Owls 54-62 in a close match up.
Ashley Davis (Smithsburg, MD) led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds followed by Alexandra Henderson (Smithsburg, MD) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Both of them leaving the game with double-doubles.
At half the Hawks were up 23-22. After the third quarter the Hawks were leading 42-38 but the Owls came into the fourth quarter ready to fight. The Owls went up by 13 with 1:39 left in the fourth quarter to come back and take down the Hawks 54-62.
Women's Basketball will be back in action on Saturday February 12th at home vs Alleghany Community College at 1:30pm.
