Hawks kick off season at Montgomery College Mixer

Saturday November 13

The Hagerstown Community College Women's Basketball team traveled to Montgomery College to play the College of Southern Maryland in a season opening mixer. The Lady Hawks played even with the College of Southern Maryland through the first three quarters at 40-40. However, fouls and poor shooting domed the Lady Hawks in the fourth quarter falling  67-47. 

Kyriah Stubbs (No. 2) led HCC in scoring with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  The Hawks are in action again again on Sunday as they face Delaware Technical College at 11:

Sunday November 14

The Hawks Women's Basketball team traveled back to Montgomery College to play Delaware Technical Community College at Montgomery college on Sunday.  The Hawks struggled offensively through the second and third quarters allowing Delaware Tech to build an 11 point lead going into the fourth quarter.  Fatigue and turnovers took their toll resulting in a final score of 73-53. 

Kyriah Stubbs (No. 2) led the Hawks in scoring with 17 points followed by Saidat Abbas (No. 11) with 12 points.  

the Hawks travel to Scotland Campus on Tuesday, November 16th for a 6:00 p.m. tipoff.
