WYE MILLS, Md.—With only seven players, the HCC women's basketball team lost to Chesapeake College on Jan. 24th by a score of 41-105 resulting them to be 1-6 in the MD JUCO conference and 4-10 overall.
The Hawks were not able to compete with the Skipjacks' "height and depth," said head coach Bernie Semler.
Alexis Harris scored 18 points during the game and Kha'Niya Evans with 11 points.
The Hawks will play their next game on Feb. 1 away at Potomac State College.
