Hagerstown 61, Northern Virginia 51
NORTH EAST, Md. — Alexis Harris had 25 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and four steals to lead Hagerstown Community College past Northern Virginia in the NJCAA Region XX Division II tournament quarterfinals Thursday.
Brittanie Ray had 20 points and seven rebounds, Cierra Theratt had 11 rebounds and three blocks and Chelsea Cover had four assists and two steals for HCC (13-9).
The Hawks, who trailed 24-22 at halftime, outscored NOVA 17-4 in the fourth quarter.
HCC will play Cecil College in the semifinals Saturday at noon.
