MONACA, Pa. — Cierra Therratt had 23 points and 12 rebounds as Hagerstown Community College won its season opener Saturday, defeating Mercyhurst North East in a mixer at Community College of Beaver County.
Hagerstown led 24-20 at the half before pulling away in the second half, scoring 20 points in the third quarter and 24 in the fourth.
Alexis Harris had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Tajah Goodman had seven assists and Chelsea Cover had six assists and four steals for the Hawks (1-0).
