April 4th was the hottest day of the spring so far, and the Hawk's bats caught fire in a home doubleheader against the Harford CC Fighting Owls. Between both games the team had 67 at bats, 21 hits, 11 stolen bases, walked 14 times, and struck out only 6 times for a combined run total of 27. "Saturday was a display of how the girls are working to build upon one another's strengths and they are coming together as a team. There wasn't just one instance or individual that made the difference, it was a full team effort. Their energy and positivity was through the roof!!", commented Head Coach, Savannah Mills, "The icing on the cake was Brooke Buhrman's crushed middle right field grand slam!"
The Hawks travel to Frederick Community College on Wednesday, April 8th for a double header against the Cougars.
