MYRTYLE BEACH, S.C. — Hagerstown Community College split a pair of games at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic on Thursday.

In the win over Schoolcraft College (Mich.), Hagerstown scored eight runs in the first.

Madi Renn had three hits and four RBIs, Maddie McDonough had three hits, including a double, and scored three runs, Victoria Oliver had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs, Elizabeth Churchman had two hits and an RBI and Kaitlin Wolfe pitched five innings of relief with five strikeouts.

In the one-run loss to Danville Area Community College (Ill.), Hagerstown led 4-0 in the seventh before Danville rallied to tie the game and then walked off with a run in the bottom of the eighth.

Oliver had two doubles and an RBI, Wolfe had two hits and an RBI, Renn had two hits and Emily Talbert pitched a complete game with six strikeouts for the Hawks (6-2).
