FREDERICK, Md. — Cierra Beaver pitched a complete game with four strikeouts to lead Hagerstown Community College past Frederick Community College in the opener of a Maryland JUCO doubleheader sweep on Thursday.
In the opener, Hagerstown scored all six runs in the sixth. Tiffany Stull had two hits and two RBIs, Bridgette Ritchey had two RBIs and Katlin Wolfe had two hits.
In the second game, Emily Talbert pitched a two-hit shutout and Stull had a double for the Hawks (17-9, 8-2).
