Emily Talbert pitched a five-inning three-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead Hagerstown Community College past Anne Arundel Community College in the opener of a doubleheader sweep on Saturday.
Cierra Beaver had two doubles and three RBIs, Maddie Baker had two hits, including a double and an RBI, and Madi Renn added two hits and an RBI.
In the second game, Beaver went five innings with five strikeouts, Tiffany Stull hit a three-run homer, Madison Clark had three hits, including a double and two RBIs, Kaitlin Wolfe had two hits, including a double and two RBIs, and Baker added two hits, including a double, for the Hawks (5-7).
