MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Hagerstown Community College split a pair of games Monday at the Fastpitch Dreams event, winning 3-1 over Penn State Beaver, followed by a 6-1 loss to Penn State Schuykill.
In the win over Beaver, Emily Talbert pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts, Madi Renn had three hits and Kaitlin Wolfe and Tiffany Stull added two hits each. Hagerstown all three of its runs in the bottom of the sixth.
In the loss to Schuylkill, Wolfe and Madison Clark had two hits each for the Hawks (1-3).
