Doc Jopson Invitational Results
The Outdoor Track & Field team traveled to Bridgewater College to compete in the Doc Jopson Invitational on March 25th.
The men's team is continuing to show their talents in the events the Hawks participate in. Michael Kelly is entering his first outdoor season in the 110 meter High Hurdles. After a successful rookie season in the Indoor 60 meter High Hurdles he is showing ready to continue that momentum outside, taking 1st place with a personal best of 15.62 seconds. Tommy Bildheiser brought in a 1st place finish again in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.83, winning by almost 2 full seconds. Ryan Rasco competed in the 1500 meter and took 4th place with a time of 4:07.43.
For the women Josey Reineman is showing her All American status in taking 1st place in the High Jump with a height of 1.63 meters (5' 4.25"). Reineman was the only competitor to clear 1.63 meters. Mikaila Ek took 4th in the Pole Vault with a height of 2.96 meters (9' 8.5").
Next the Hawk will be heading to Townson University for the Towson Invitational on April 1st.
