Butts Sets Personal Record with Win
Men's and Womens Indoor Track and Field traveled to Virginia Military Institute on January 21st and 22nd to compete in the Keydet Invitational.
David Butts (Hagerstown, MD) was the big winner over the weekend taking 1st in the mens mile with a personal record time of 4:20.53. Gabe Conder (Hagerstown, MD) finished 11th with a time of 4:33.02 and Griffin Knipp (Williamsport, MD) finished 26th with a time of 5:22.89.
Chalker, Pearson, Rasco, and Butts competed in the mens distance medley relay coming in 2nd place to division 1 VMI with a time of 10:26.06. Butt's anchored in the relay passing UNC Asheville at the line.
Zane Chalker (Hagerstown, MD) finished 2nd in the mens 3000 with a time of 8:37.28.
Josey Reineman placed 2nd in the womens high jump with a height of 1.55m.
Gabe Conder finished 5th in the mens 5000 with a time of 15:50.92.
In the mens 800 meter Ryan Rasco (Hagerstown, MD) finished 7th with a time of 2:00.46 and Jaron Pearson (Hagerstown, MD) finished 14th with a time of 2:08.39.
The Men's and Womens team will travel back to Virginia Military Institute on January 28th and 29th to compete in the VMI Winter Relays.
