Henry Schmidt places 2nd in 3000 meters at WVU Open

The Hawks Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field team competed on Friday, January 10th, in the WVU Open, at the West Virginia Collusseum, in Morgantown, WV.
Henry Schmidt placed second in the Men's 3000 meters, with a time of 9:34.76, 6 minutes and 33 seconds behind the winner, Connor Harriman from Pitt-Johnstown. Teammate, Trentin Overcash came in 7th, with a time of 9:34.76.
Also competing for the men on Friday were Saige Vipond and Tyson Bellistri in the 800 meters, Josh Kamara in the 400 meters, and Michael Yongbi in Shot Put. For the women, Khelsa Connolly competed in the mile, India Pack & Edy Colliflower in the 800 meters, and Kaya Jackson in the 60 & 200 meters.
