Hagerstown CC vs Anne Arundel CC
HCC Men's Soccer achieved a convincing 6-3 victory over AACC Men's Soccer in a Region 20 match held on September 27, 2025.
In the past month, HCC has experienced mixed results, which included multiple games against nationally ranked opponents. This match marked a resurgence, with HCC excelling in converting opportunities in front of goal. Play was even early between the two teams, but Anne Arundel CC got the better of HCC in the 10th minute scoring the first goal of the game to go up 1-0. HCC would find their way back right before halftime with Eric Jacobs finding Ben Rankin through to goal off a long ball from the opposing 18. Rankin then finished off the offensive move with a beautiful chip of the keeper to make it 1-1.
HCC would come into the 2nd half as the team on the front foot, and that would pay off early as Marvin Brown and Rankin would combine to create an opening for Jackson Baer who would take a superb shot from outside the box to make the score 2-1 for the Hawks. It only took another 5 minutes and HCC would put another goal on the board to make it 3-1. Kundai Makusha took a pass from Rankin, before striking a long range curling shot to the top corner. HCC was in total control of the game until the 67th minute when AACC would find 2 goals in a span of 2 minutes to make the score 3-3. With only 14 minutes to go, HCC would turn it on again scoring 3 unanswered goals to finish off the game. Finlay Smith would put away the game winner in the 76th minute off an assist from Jacob Boyd. Within a minute Feeser would beat multiple defenders in the box to make it 5-3. Smith would get his 2nd of the game in the closing minutes off an assist from Feeser to round out the scoring at 6-3.
Hagerstown CC vs Carroll CC
Hagerstown CC Men's Soccer secured a dominant victory over Carroll Community College with a final score of 4-0 in a region 20 match played on September 30, 2025. The Hawks controlled the game from start to finish, out shooting the Lynx 25-1. The Hawks regularly put pressure on the Lynx goal in the 1st half, but were only able to finish one socring opportunity when Hakeem Marafa was fouled in the box to set up a penalty for Carson Feeser, which he calmly put away. The 2nd half would be no different than the 1st with the Hawks dominating play and chances on goal. They would score in the first few minutes of the 1st half with a great individual run by Alan Paz, making the score 2-0. Paz would then find his second of the game and make it 3-0. Jacob Boyd took a pass from Feeser before finding Paz in the box who then slotted it home. Feeser would then get his 2nd of the game with a long range free kick that found the top corner making the final score 4-0. Braydon Blair and Gabe Beckering would combine for their 2nd shutout of the season.
Hagerstown CC vs CCBC Catonsville
Hagerstown CC secured its 3rd win in a row with a 1-0 win over the Cardinals of CCBC Catonsville on October 2nd, 2025. The Hawks dominated possession for most of the match, and had several good chances to win control of the game in the 1st half but were unable to find the back of the net with the Cardinals keeper making several good saves. The 2nd half was much of the same and they thought they had the lead midway through the 2nd half when Matt Downs found the back of the net, only to be denied by the referee, The game would go back and forth with the Hawks finding the better of the chances throughout the rest of the 2nd half, but unable to find the back of the net. With the game looking inevitable that it was going to end in a 0-0 tie, in the 84th minute MJ Ribis would find Alan Paz for his 3rd goal in two games and the game winner to put the Hawks ahead 1-0, and the win. Braydon Blair and Gabe Beckering combined for their 3rd shutout in 3 games, and helped the Hawks move their record to 6-4-1 on the season.
After a weekend off, the Hawks will turn their attention to conference foe, Cecil College who bested them last year in North East.
