Hawks host conference match at Maryland National Golf Club

HCC Hawks Golf hosted a regular season Region 20 Maryland JUCO match yesterday (4/9/26) at their home course, Maryland National Golf Club, Middletown, MD.

 

The  shotgun format started at 12:00 p.m. and dawned a field of 20 golfers representing Hagerstown Community College, Anne Arundel Community College, Carroll Community College and the College of Southern Maryland, (each team has hosted a home match this spring to make up the regular season.) HCC's Peyton Cramer tied for first with Tommy Eisel from Anne Arundel CC with a score of 77, 6 over par. Third and fourth places were represented by Anne Arundel's William Maddox, 79 (+8) and Eddie Sarrach, 80, (+9), followed by HCC's Blake Whitcomb in 5th place, 81, (+10).

 

So far this spring the Hawks have placed 2nd out of four teams in two matches, and won the last match on March 30th with a team score of 334, hosted by Carroll CC at  Oakmont Green Golf Course. Peyton Cramer won that match with a (+1), 73, Blake Whitcomb was runner up, 78, Nickel Lawrence, 88, and Max Bono and Zach Kidd each shot 95.
