HCC Men's Golf fielding a full roster

Hagerstown Community College Men's Golf has a full roster for the 2024 spring season. Competing in 3 region tournaments, one open tournament sponsored by Catholic University, and the Region 20 Championship, (see schedule HCC Men's Golf 2024 schedule) the Hawks roster of four freshmen and two returning sophomores have their goals focused on the NJCAA Southeast District Golf Tournament to be held at the Golf Club of Bristol in Bristol , TN on May 23-25, 2024.

The freshman class includes Andrew Bushey (Smithsburg High School), Bryce Hartle (Boonsboro High School), Andrew House (Middletown High School), and Jacob Wells (Boonsboro High School). Returning as sophomores are Brock Herb (Shippensburg Area Senior High School) and Ben Petty (Boonsboro High School).

"I was one of these guys 40 years ago. I loved golf, wasn't very good but wanted to get better. Every kid that we have coached has gotten better, and it's amazing to me how many former players play regularly to this day!", remarked Head Men's Golf Coach, Dirk Schultz. "I'm competitive, don't get me wrong, and these kids are too, and we'll see where the season takes us."
