Hawks win MDJUCO

On Thursday, Hagerstown CC Men's Golf shot 339 in total strokes at Beaver Creek Country Club (par 72), to win the Maryland JUCO championship. The field of eleven golfers included 4 Hawks, 7 Riverhawks and 1 individual golfer from the College of Southern Maryland. Competing against Hagerstown CC for team championship honors was Anne Arundel CC, who shot a combined 347strokes in the match. Jaxson Schultz won individual honors with 75 , followed by teammate Noah Reeder in second place, who shot 77. Dylan Weiss placed third with an 85 for the Riverhawks, edging out Hagerstown's Evan Row who shot 86. Rounding out the scorecard for the Hawks was Mason Patterson with 101.
The Hawks travel to Bristol, TN this weekend to compete in the NJCAA DII Southeast District tournament at the Golf Club of Bristol (par 71). Qualifiers from the two day 54 hole stroke play event, beginning Monday, April 25th, will be eligible to compete in the NJCAA DII National Golf Tournament at Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, MO. The championship will be a four day stroke play tournament starting on Tuesday, May 17th.
