Hagerstown Community College Men's Basketball played on the road Wednesday, and pulled down an 86-80 win against Garrett College in double overtime. HCC has been tested with a road-heavy schedule, as 13 of the first 16 games have been played on the road against top-ranked opponents. Head Coach, Bernard Hopkins commented on the team's season start, "This group has stayed together. You saw our growth against Frederick where our guys worked together, made key defensive stops, and stayed disciplined." When asked about yesterday's win, Hopkins added, "Wow, what a game! Our team's resilience showed up in last night's game. The work our guys have put in is showing, and we're excited to keep building momentum for the games we have ahead."
