Andrew Mathias had two hits, including a three-run homer, in the first game of Hagerstown Community College's doubleheader sweep Saturday.
In the opener, Hagerstown led 6-1 before Anne Arundel rallied to tie the game. Nate Cotton hit the go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the fifth.
Branden Lynch had three hits, including two doubles, and an RBI, Jaden Weida had two hits and an RBI, Robbie Houck and Enrique Morales had two hits each and Ryan Greene (4-1) pitched 2 1/3 innings of perfect relief to pick up the win.
In the second game, Dylan Reid (4-2) pitched a complete game, scattering four hits with four strikeouts. Mitch Potter had two hits and an RBI, Lynch had a solo homer in the third and Weida, Morales and Spencer Martin each had an RBI for the Hawks (27-9, 13-1).
