Nate Cotton fell a triple shy of the cycle and drove in six runs for Hagerstown Community College in the opener of a doubleheader sweep of Scotland Campus on Wednesday.
Andrew Mathias hit two home runs, a two-run shot and a grand slam, for the Hawks (24-9). Branden Lynch had three hits and RBI, Robbie Houck had two hits and two RBIs, and Evan Marushak had two hits.
In the nightcap, Will Grove (3-3) and Seth Hartman combined on a four-hitter with nine strikeouts. Enrique Morales had two hits and drove in two runs, and Marushak had a two-run double.
