Colby Shimmel (7-2) pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts to lead Hagerstown Community College past Prince George's in the opener of a doubleheader split on Thursday.
In the opener, Quin Ambeault had two hits and three RBIs, Robbie Houck had three hits and Doug Cassera had two hits.
In the second game, Houck had two hits and an RBI and Andrew Wenner and Ryan Crook had two hits each for the Hawks (26-22).
