VERO BEACH, Fla. — Four Hawks errors led to seven unearned runs as Kirkwood made Hagerstown Community College pay for its mistakes in the Hawks' final game of their season-opening Florida trip on Saturday.
Austin Moser and Geraghty Showe had two hits each and Doug Cassera drove in a run with a sacrifice fly for HCC (8-4). The Hawks trailed 2-1 in the fifth inning before Kirkwood pulled away.
