Lady Hawks Extend Win Streak To Ten

The Lady Hawks scored their tenth consecutive win at NOVA on Tuesday (18-25), (25-23), (25-19), (25-6). 

The Hawks were led by Morgan Dyer with 11 kills and six blocks. 

Katie Morgan had 10 kills and two blocks. 

Maddi Miller recorded 22 assists, while Britney Malphurs had 15. 

Alyssa Shoemaker led with 12 digs, while Emma Wise had 11. 

"I was so impressed with how our team responded to losing the first set," Head Coach Rebecca Morgan said. This team's resilience and ability to overcome obstacles is one of our greatest strengths."

The last time the Hawks lost a set in any game was two against Frederick CC on September 18. 

"We are truly on a remarkable run," Morgan said. "Our girls put in so much work and are always practicing more than the normal time each day and it is showing on game day."

The Lady Hawks will come home for a five game home stand in the next 13 days and look to continue to grow their winning streak. 

Their first match-up on the home stand will be against CCBC Essex on Friday at 6:00PM.
