The Hagerstown Community College women’s volleyball team is set to go for the fall season with seven new recruits and four returning sophomores.
The new additions include four players from North Hagerstown — Tana McKinsey, Kiah Marshalleck, Savannah Akins and Karlee Hines — along with Smithsburg’s Alexis Spickler, Williamsport’s Olivia Rowland and Jefferson’s Mallory Jackson.
The returning players are Kendra Day (South Hagerstown), EmmaLeigh Nally (Williamsport), Paige Caudell (Clear Spring) and Ryann Fiery (Clear Spring).
“We are really excited about this year and the recruiting class that has been added to our returning players,” said HCC coach Beth Domenico, whose team went 10-2 in the Maryland JUCO Conference last year and 14-13 overall. “We have a great mix of athletes and are awaiting the start of the 2016 season.”
