Lady Hawks fall to the Cougars on the road

The Lady Hawks were never able to gain momentum, Saturday, as they fell 47-68 to the Frederick Community College Cougars.  Alexis Harris scored 16 points, with 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, Kha'Niya Evans added 9 points, 3 assists and a steal, and Hiyanna Keller scored 6, with 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.  The Cougars mounted a strong front with Amiah Banks scoring a game-high 25 points, making 9 out of 19 baskets, and teammate Makkaala Ambush adding 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Trailing 16-28 at the half, the Hawks weren't able to mount enough of a charge to ever gain the lead.

Next up for Hagerstown, the Lady Hawks face the Montgomery Raptors at home, Wednesday, January 15th, starting at 6:00 p.m.
