GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Hagerstown Community College's Micaela Fleetwood had a busy day, winning the 100 hurdles and totaling 22 points across four events in the Mason Dixon Invitational at Gettysburg College on Saturday.
Fleetwood matched her personal best in the hurdles with a time of 16.29 seconds. The sophomore also finished fourth in the javelin (84-4), fifth in the 200 (27.82) and sixth in the high jump (4-7 3/4).
Skylar Selby finished eighth in the shot put (28-11) for the HCC women, who finished eighth with 23 points.
For the HCC men, Ben Seiss finished fourth in the shot put (40-0 3/4), Jacob Kofoet was sixth in the discus (111-11) and Kyle Gaisor was eighth in the javelin (121-6). The men finished 12th with 11 points.
Former HCC All-American Mike Belcher had third-place finishes in the discus (145-5) and hammer throw (163-0) for Frostburg, which won the team title with 194 points. His coach, former Frostburg All-American and Boonsboro standout J.R. Lowery, was second in the shot put (48-1 1/4) and fourth in the hammer throw (162-3), competing unattached.
