Hawks Fall To Nationally Ranked Prince Georges CC

The Hawks traveled to Prince Georges CC on Tuesday and lost 4-0.

The Hawks came out aggressive early as James Searcy struck a shot towards the goal that hit the post in the first minute. 

The team continued to create chances. Travis Bamfo, Dalton Myers, Ahmed Abadir and Ja'Cobi Tolliver all had chances that narrowly missed or were saved. 

The game was tied 0-0 at the half. 

"We played really well in the first half," Head Coach CJ Trammell said. "We ran out of gas in the second half and it was the difference."

Princes Georges CC came out strong in the second half scoring four unanswered goal to give them victory. 

"Our opponent today carries a national ranking," Trammell said. "This game shows us once again what level we have the ability to play at but we need to put together a full 90 minute match."

The Hawks next match-up will Thursday October 3rd at home against Howard Community College at 4:00PM.
