Versatile Midfielder added to 2019 Hawks

Hagerstown is excited to announce Matt Medina as the latest recruit to join the program. Matt joins HCC from Boonsboro high school where he has 4 years of varsity experience. He spent most of his time in central midfield while at Boonsboro. As a senior, Medina was selected as an All-CMC Gambrill Honorable Mention. The midfield workhorse spent time playing club soccer for Liverpool FC International Academy of Western MD. The team advanced through the US Youth Soccer Championship East Regionals. Medina scored a goal during the regional tournament. The team advanced on to the US Youth Soccer Championship National Tournament where they finished 4th. Liverpool FC finished the 2018-2019 season with a 15-3-4 record.
Matt joins a recruiting class that includes Frederick County recruits, Anthony Valladarez, Habraam Gonzalez Escalera, and Anthony Zarate.
