Hawks Three Game Win Streak Ends in Monroe Invitational

The Hawks Men's Basketball team traveled to Rochelle, NY for a pair of games in the Monroe Invitational Friday and Saturday. Their first match-up was against host Monroe College. The Hawks fell to Monroe 78-64 in Friday night's duel. Dwight Felton led the Hawks with 21 points on 8-11 shooting from the field. Felton also recorded four rebounds. Tyrin Hollis recorded 18 points, five rebounds, and four steals while Jalen Freeman also added 10 points to join his fellow teammates in double figures. 
In their second match-up, the Hawks fell again 69-63 to the ASA Brooklyn Avengers. The Hawks had four players in double figures but it wasn't enough to win the game. Tyrin Hollis led the way in scoring with 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Malik Moore contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. Kyshon Tate finished the game with 10 points and nine rebounds. Dwight Felton also recorded 11 points. The Hawks ended the trip 0-2 and their record is now 3-3. 
The Hawks will head home for a match-up with Anne Arundel CC at 8:00PM on Monday November 25th following the Women's game at 6:00PM. Join us at the ARCC.
