Hawks Baseball Splits on Sunday

VERO BEACH, Fla. — Dillon Sunnquist had three hits and Josh Menders had two hits and three RBIs to lead Hagerstown Community College over College of Lake County (Ill.) in the first game of a doubleheader split Sunday.

Also for the Hawks in the win, TJ Kalagher had two hits and two RBIs, Corey Walters had two hits and an RBI, Ryan Delorbe had two hits, Raffy Baumgardner hit a three-run homer and Michael Hawbaker (1-0) picked up the win in relief.

HCC (5-1) suffered its first loss of the season in the second game as Lake County scored the game-winning run on a two-out, bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning.

With the Hawks trailing 4-1 with two outs in the sixth, Riley Jackson tied the game with a three-run double. Brayden Quirple finished with two hits and an RBI.
