WINCHESTER, Va. — Hagerstown Community College rallied from an early three-run deficit to beat the Shenandoah University junior varsity team, completing a doubleheader sweep on Wednesday.

Quin Ambeault had two hits and drove in three runs and Colby Shimmel had a pair of hits for the Hawks (16-13), who trailed 4-1 in the third inning. Logan Wilmoth (4-1) went six innings to get the win, and Austin Moser picked up the save.

In the opener, Jared Durning tossed a four-hit shutout, striking out five in six innings.

Andrew Wenner, Geraghty Showe, Tanner Helms and Ambeault each had two hits and two RBIs, while Robbie Houck and Shimmel each added two hits.
