Ashlyn Rebok returns to HCC athletics after 6 years away from the program. She brings with her 8 years of club coaching and administrative experience.
A Chambersburg native and Hagerstown Community College Alumna, Ashlyn helped the Lady Hawks to two consecutive Region XX titles, and trips to the NJCAA Division II National Championships in 2009 and 2010. Following her time at HCC, she transferred, under scholarship, to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, setting for the Lady Braves in her junior and senior seasons (2011, 2012.) She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education.
After spending 3 seasons (2014, 2015, 2016) as the Assistant Juniors Director and Tournament Director with the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA) in Sterling, VA, she also began a new role as the Associate Director for the Chambersburg Area Volleyball Express (CAVE) club out of Chambersburg, PA. Along with years of club coaching experience, and a culmination of different roles with the Revolution Volleyball Club, Fayetteville Area Volleyball Association, Northern Virginia Volleyball Association, and CAVE, Ashlyn has acquired considerable experience with various age levels. She also brings a strong Gold Medal Squared coaching philosophy to the Hawks, a continuation of the same style used in the program’s history.
Recently graduating with a Master’s of Science Degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from Western Kentucky University, she continues work on personal growth and leadership through the John Maxwell Team.
Combining history, experience, and charisma within Hagerstown Volleyball is Ashlyn's focus. She and the Lady Hawks strive to create dominance in the region, along with adding to the community culture of athletics on campus. Her belief in a balance between hard work and fun on and off the court, creating great leaders within her athletes, and collaborating with a great group of players and staff is the path taken from the origin of where her journey began.
